It Was Time to Get Help: How Coaching Changed My Life
Everyone's journey is unique, but the emotions we experience often connect us. Our evolution as human beings is filled with drama, twists, and turns, but it’s also where we grow the most.
I got married before I had a career and before I even knew who I really was. At the time, I was dancing and teaching, content with the idea of living a simple life. But that wasn’t what my husband, Nigel, had in mind.
Nigel was always a dreamer. He danced on the edge of ‘more’ and did whatever it took to create a bigger, fuller life. While I admire this about him now, at the time, I resented it deeply. Somehow, his drive for more translated into a narrative in my mind that I wasn’t enough.
When you entangle yourself in these narratives—ones that feel so real yet are so far from the truth—it can be nearly impossible to untangle yourself. For years, I lived with that feeling of ‘not enough.’ And then I broke.
I was suicidal, with a 5-year-old and a husband who had no idea what to do with me. I tried regular talk therapy, but it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I felt validated in my feelings, but there was no solution offered, no way forward. I didn’t just want to feel—I wanted to grow, to be better, to change.
I wanted a solution.
After months of feeling hopeless and overwhelmed, I made a decision. I would invest in coaching. It couldn’t hurt, right? I went to Nigel and told him, “I’m writing a check, I’m going to get help.” He wasn’t thrilled about the price tag, but he agreed—probably hoping, “Please, God, let this bring my wife back.”
At the time, I didn’t even understand what I was truly experiencing.
Now I understand- I was grieving our struggles to grow our family, I craved a more fulfilling career, and I desperately needed to shift my mindset from “I’m not enough” to “I am perfect and worthy as I am.”
Group coaching saved my life.
For the first time, I became obsessed with how to be better, feel better, and get what I wanted out of life. I dove into personal development headfirst. Since that moment in 2019, I haven’t stopped. I’ve read hundreds of books, taken countless courses, and gained multiple certifications. I’ve invested well over six figures in my growth.
But here’s the thing: it shouldn’t have to cost that much to feel good.
I’ve invested over five figures in a single group program that lasted just six months. I’ve sat in powerful rooms and been part of transformative conversations. But I also felt a deep sense of lack when I realized I had invested far beyond what was necessary.
You shouldn’t have to go into debt to feel good. Period.
So, I’ve changed the game—and I’ve never felt better. I lowered my rates, signed more 1:1 clients, and built something incredible. While I don’t love every decision I made in 2023, the plot twist is that without those decisions, I wouldn’t have landed where I am now—clear, grounded, safe, and full of trust. My business works for me, and I love the clients I get to serve and the work I get to do.
Now, I’m excited to offer a new program that’s similar to how I started—a program that gave me confidence and allowed me to change my perspective.
Introducing Confidence to Create—a group program designed for the busiest individuals who are ready to step into their power. We’ll have 6 calls over three months, plus a Telegram chat to keep us connected and accountable. This is the program I’ve been dreaming of offering, and I’m thrilled to make it accessible.
I’m offering it at a rate that won’t break the bank. Sure, it might still feel like a stretch—but it’s one that will be worth it. I believe in this so much that if it doesn’t help you transform, I’ll give you your money back. That’s how confident I am in what I can teach.
I’m not advertising many details yet—it’s rolling out slowly. But if you already know you’re in, click the link to secure your spot. There are only 10 spaces available, and they will fill up fast.
You don’t have to hit rock bottom or go into debt to feel worthy of this investment. If you’re ready, or even just curious, feel free to email me for more details.
See you soon. 💫
