Reflecting on the Shadows: My Evolution as a Coach

Embracing Change, Finding Purpose

Many of you know my story—the journey from a place of darkness, teetering on the brink of despair, to discovering my unique purpose and vision for living and being in the world. It's a story that began with a pivotal decision—to seek help, to reach out for guidance, to hire my first coach at my lowest point.

That decision changed everything. From the moment of our first call, I became addicted to coaching. It was a profound experience that led me to delve deep into the realms of mindset, meditation, personal development, psychology, and business. For the first time since my addiction to dance, I had found a passion that consumed me.

Fast forward, and you'll find a version of me different from the coach I once was.

I've undergone a transformation—a journey culminating in my decision to become ICF certified. This certification represents more than just a qualification; it symbolizes a commitment to honing my craft, refining my approach, and serving my clients with the utmost integrity.

Over the past six months, I've discovered my niche—business coaching. It's a realm I'm intimately familiar with, having been an entrepreneur myself and having grown up surrounded by the world of business. But what sets me apart now is my approach.

Through my training with ICF, I've learned to guide clients not by imposing my ideas onto them but by helping them uncover their own answers and their own path.

You see, the key lies within you. You already possess the wisdom, the insights, the solutions. My role is simply to facilitate the process—to unlock those answers, to hold you accountable, and to support you as you bring your brilliance into the world.

Yes, there are moments from my past that I'm not proud of. Times when I projected my own ideas onto others instead of empowering them to discover their truth. But I've learned from those moments. I've grown. And I'm committed to applying that awareness to my work now—to asking more questions, holding more silence, and approaching each client with compassion and empathy.

So, if you're curious about what's possible, if you're ready to move forward, if you're seeking accountability and support—I invite you to take that intuitive leap. Reach out to me. Let's walk this path together, uncovering your brilliance and bringing it forth into the world.

You don't have to be at rock bottom to hire a coach. You just have to be curious about how things can get better. Because coaching is about moving forward, about taking action, about creating the life you desire.

I believe in you. Let's embark on this journey together.

XO- Karissa
